
Corn Bible Academy High School Academic Team contemplates their achievements.
Corn, OKLA. — Corn Bible Academy participated in the District Academic Tournament held at Arapaho on Monday, October 26, scoring an average of 170 points per game. The team defeated Canute and Washita Heights but lost to Arapaho to take 2nd place. CBA’s most valuable player was eleventh grade student Brian Koehn who garnered 140 points in the toss-up rounds.
The three other ninth grade team members are Rachel Detweiler, Renae Koehn, and Dean Schmidt. These three students each added 40 points during the toss-up rounds with all four team members contributing points during the 60 second team rounds. Kent McAbee, another ninth grade student, served as the time-keeper.
Coach Joyce Creed remarked, “I really enjoy working with this particular group of students. I want to thank them for their continual practice and for their great attitude!”
CBA now advances to the Regional Meet which will be held at Corn Bible Academy on November 14 and will include fourteen teams from the region.
