Corn, OKLA.–On Monday, September 14, the Corn Bible Academy junior high football team beat Duke, 28-6. A fine defensive effort led by Andrew Troyer, Travis Ensz, and Jay Penner triggered the Crusader win.
Touchdown runs by Troyer, Trevor Harms, and a 65 yard touchdown pass from Scott Dick to Harms helped the Crusaders lead 22-0 at halftime.
The next junior high game is Monday, September 21 versus Mountain View/Gotebo at Crusader Park. Game time is 6:30 p.m. The annual homecoming powder puff game will immediately follow the junior high game.
