Corn, OKLA.–The Corn Bible Academy Crusaders beat Cement last Friday night, 54-6, behind a good defensive effort and four touchdown passes from Pate Gossen. Gossen connected with Spencer Huiatt for a 40 yard touchdown, Jared Boese for an 18 yard touchdown, and Taylor Ensz for touchdowns of 40 yards and 81 yards. Gossen finished the night by hitting six of eight passes for 185 yards.
Scott Dick connected with Aaron Slagell on a 34 yard scoring pass as the Crusaders piled up 235 passing yards. Andrew Troyer scored on a one yard run and Huiatt returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown, his fourth punt return touchdown of the season. Huiatt also intercepted two passes and recovered three fumbles.
CBA hosts Tipton this Friday night at Crusader Park in an important District C-2 game. Game time is 7:30 p.m. with Homecoming Coronation immediately following.
