CORN, Okla.–The road to the State Tournament has been a little bumpy for the Corn Bible Academy Crusaders, but they are on track to continue their goal of heading to State this year.
On Thursday, February 19th, CBA lost the first round of the district tournament in an overtime game against Granite, 58-65. The next night, however, the Crusaders fought back to defeat Union City in a close game, 76-74. In the consolation tournament championship game on Saturday, February 21, CBA played Oklahoma Christian Academy and came out on top, 76-70, to win the Regional Consolation trophy.
With the win, CBA advances to the Area Tournament on February 26. They will play Chatanooga at Lawton’s Great Plains Coliseum at 8:00 p.m.
