Corn, OKLA. — The Corn Bible Academy Crusader basketball teams split games with the Geary Bison on Tuesday, February 2. The Lady Crusaders beat Geary 55-25 while the Crusaders were defeated in double overtime 80-70.
Skyler Voss had a game high of 15 points while Emily Dick, RaeLyn Epp, and Jessica Penner each scored 10 points raising the Lady Crusader’s record to 12-6. The guys fell to 5-13 as they were outscored in the second overtime 16-6. Jared Boese led the Crusaders with 21 points, while Spencer Huiatt added 19 points, Pate Gossen added 14 points, and Taylor Ensz contributed 11 points to keep CBA close.
The Crusaders host Cyril on Thursday, February 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the CBA gymnasium and then travel to Union City on Friday, February 5, for three games with the Tigers. Junior varsity boys play at 5:00 p.m., varsity girls play at 6:30, and varsity boys will play at 8:00 p.m.
