Corn, OKLA — The Lady Crusaders Volleyball team participated with seven other teams in the Best of The West volleyball tournament in Clinton, Oklahoma on August 27 & 28. After pool play, the Crusaders were seeded third with a record of 5 wins and 2 losses. This placed them in the championship playoff bracket against the number two seed, Oklahoma Bible Academy.
The Crusaders split the first two games of the match but lost the tiebreaker by a score of 12-15. Emily Dick and Jessica Penner were selected to the all tournament team. Scores of the matches for the Crusaders were

Coach Slagell sees improvement in the team and stated that they are working on a more advanced offense that she feels will pay off against stronger competition.
