Homecoming Candidates 2017

Corn, OKLA — CBA students will journey Through the Wardrobe during basketball homecoming week January 9-13.  The student council chose the Narnia theme to celebrate Abraham’s journey into the strange land mentioned in Hebrews 11:9, “By faith he [Abraham] sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.”  Students will participate in dress up days:  occupation day, Narnia day, fandom day, pun-y day, and spirit day.  The student council plans to turn the halls of CBA into a winter wonderland much like the make-believe land of Narnia with the lamppost, snow-flocked windows, icicles hanging from the ceiling, snow covered trees, and, of course, the wardrobe.
The Crusaders will host the Gracemont Tigers beginning at 4:30 pm with junior high girls and boys.  Varsity teams will follow.
On Friday after the basketball games, the students will crown their choices for king and queen in a short coronation ceremony.  The homecoming candidates are seniors:  Cassidy Listak, Amy Freeman, Audrey Spalding, Laura Marrufo, James Vercellotti, Carter Smith, Dylan Schmidt, and Spencer Boese.  Nathan Cooke and Mylee Brunker, kindergarten students from WOCS Clinton Campus, are the attendants.
