Corn, Okla. — A new feature to the Corn Bible Academy Web site is the new Web icon for iPhones and iPod touches. Although both devices come equipped with the ability to add shortcuts to Web sites from the home screen, CBA has created an Apple touch icon for its site and hopes visitors will use it to quickly get to their favorite Corn Bible Academy Web page.
Instructions:
Open the Safari Internet browser and go to the Corn Bible Academy page you want linked from your home screen.
Click the plus symbol at the bottom center of the page.
Click "Add to Home Screen."
The first icon to appear is a screen shot of the Web page.
Wait for the CBA icon to appear before continuing.
For long names such as "Corn Bible Academy | Welcome," we recommend hitting the x on the right of the text and replacing it with something shorter.
Type in the new name you will use to identify the page such as "CBA," "Athletics" or "CBA Times." For titles in all caps, double click on the"shift" arrow on the left next to the letter "z." When finished typing, click "Add" in the top right.
When the icon appears on your screen, click and hold the image until it begins to shake.
You can then move it to any screen you desire. When you have it in your desired location, click the home button.
Click on the icon. The page you bookmarked should appear in the Safari browser. Feel free to add as many icons to your home screen as you wish. Be sure to name them something different to distinguish them by.
