Corn, OKLA — Corn Bible Academy parents, alumni, and supporters received a challenge as they met in support of the ministry of Christian Schools in western Oklahoma at the 20th annual CBA Kingdom Builders Banquet. The program for the evening began with music provided by the CBA choir, a parent testimony, and the recognition of the CBA alumni that graduated before 1965 and their faithful support that has made a difference in the lives of many young people. These were followed by a challenge presented by Jody Capehart, a Christian school educator and the founder of several Christian schools in the Dallas area.
The theme for the evening was “Christian Schools – A light in a Dimly Lit World”. The CBA supporters were commended by Mrs. Capehart for the multigenerational legacy of Christian education they have maintained in western Oklahoma and challenged to continue that ministry. Educational methods and materials have changed since the school was started but the vision and mission of the school continue to focus on the Holy Scriptures. Corn Bible Academy exists to provide a Bible based education to a growing number of Christian families from the United States and other countries of the world. The focus of this education is to help parents train their children to grow in knowledge, strength, spirit, and in relationship with God and others.
