CORN, Okla.–Joshua Hall, 16 year old son of Martin and Jill Hall of Corn, will participate in the Oklahoma Music Educators Association All State Choir in Tulsa, January 29-31.
Accompanying him to the three day convention and clinic is his choir director, Rhonda Goering. Hall was selected as a Tenor I in the honor choir.
Joshua was chosen after competing in two rounds of auditions in the fall that involved students from across the state. This is the first year he has participated in the high school mixed All State choir but his fourth year to participate in an All State Choir. Hall attended the junior high All State choirs in Oklahoma City the past three years.
Dr. Jonathan Reed from Michigan State University will be the guest clinician for the mixed chorus. The concert will begin at 1:15 on Saturday at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, Chapman Theatre.
