History of the Feast
The German Feast represents the culmination of the efforts of hundreds of people to put on CBA’s largest and most popular fundraiser event. God has used the German Feast to bless CBA and the community over the years. This past year’s feast was a great success! Thank you to all who came!
Dating back to 1964, the Feast is typically held on the first Saturday of April and consists of a noon meal of authentic German food, including verenika (a cottage cheese dumpling), sauerkraut, German sausage, mousse (a thin pudding with either cherries or raisins), zwieback (traditional German yeast roll), and last but not least, the German delicacy, schnetka (a cinnamon pastry) is available in the bake sale.
Aside from the food, the event consists of a bake sale and a live auction, where donated items such as exotic vacation packages, handmade quilts, and other items are auctioned off to help fund the mission of Corn Bible Academy. Tickets to the event can be purchased from a CBA student, online via the link above, or at the door on the day of the Feast.
